It's about life. Life starts happily, like when you're a baby, everyone likes you and as a child, you dont usually have problems. It changes from time to time, and when you die, everything arent perfect anymore.

I think of it in a positive way. heartache to sing means, he really really wanted to sing until it aches. you know, when you want something that you cannot get, it aches right? (like meeting the band when I went to their concert)
