There is a movie due out 2009, an adaptation of Watchmen (which Gerard has sited as one of his favourite comics of all time). My Chemical Romance are going to add to the sound track doing a cover of Dylan's classic Desolation Row.

Update on the soundtrack. They have made a video shoot for the song recently and here are some links to the few lucky people who managed to get on the set of the shoot.

Oh and a little bit more news on the shoot...
Apparently the band created a mob in downtown LA. According to eye witnesses, it was about 250 angry extras running out of 802 South Broadway in Los Angeles.
What was it?
Filming the Watchmen music video for their cover of Bob Dylan’s “Desolation Row”.
Who’s directing it?
The same dude that’s directing the movie.

According to Watchmen Music Website, the soundtrack will be released on Feb 24th but based on Kerrang!'s website, the single, which is done by the band will be released on Feb 9th.

The single, "Desolation Row" is up for pre-order as a vinyl in the official store.
It's a 12" picture disc with artwork from the film. Side A is "Desolation Row" and Side B is an instrumental piece called, "Prison Fight" by Tyler Bates (from the soundtrack of the movie).
It is available on Jan. 27th for a special price $11.99 (original price: $15.99)

To have it in vinyl is pretty awesome. But sadly I don't have the player. So, I guess in a sense it can be said as a limited. The important part is the offer that's available now. Lol.
