This is idiotic. i mean seriously, I know I may not be the right person to say this but... I know i've been suicidal but I know IT'S NOT BECAUSE OF MCR!It's because of personal problems, unlike this girl, i don't mean to be rude or anything but shes got no problems. And it's frustrating that she ended her life just because of a fad. Sometimes, I call myself an EMO too.Not because I want to be in a stupid fashion world whatever, but because i DO feel that way. But she just joined in just to 'try' or something like that?then she got so caught up with it. She decided to hang herself for nothing. No problems.Got loadsa friends.great grades. I mean,I've always said to myself that EMO stands for EMOTIONAL (and i know Emo actually started as a genre). I know I have depression,I know I've tried suicide,I know I've never cut my wrist before,But it's not MCR's fault at all. It's my own personal problems.and MCR actually HELPED ME.they didn't tell me "Go Kill Yourself Today". -_-" That girl...ugh...
But idk maybe there's a side to the story that nobody knew.Maybe something she didn't tell anyone. How the hell can you blame this on such an awesome band like My Chemical Romance? So what if the concept of the black parade is connected with the subject DEATH?in the end of it all if you listen carefully to their songs they actually gives us hope and tells us to revive again.
And just because they are not your average pop rock band doesn't mean that they are singing bad stuff. really. they are just amazing guys making amazing music for everyone.
sorry for the sudden outburst of emotion. Nobody bashes my number 1 band and gets away with it.
MCR ROCKS

mcr are just making music..thats all...
i kinda agree with blinkblink...i think this girl is kinda stupid. especially now there's earthquake in china and seeing people trying to live and so...this girl just gave up her life like that..kinda pissed me off..and now people are blaming on my chemical romance...

that proves that she WAS one very irresponsible person.
and My Chemical Romance just fall victim to her stupid actions. and dont just blame her for this mess.. it's the Daily Mail. They started all this all.
Black Parade does capture the reality of Death but in a more nice and beautiful way. and definitely doesnt send across a message like "you deserve to die" kinda thing.
this is so stupid and Daily Mail should be held responsible for all the mess they've created. My Chemical Romance definitely doesnt deserve this harsh hit! Especially coming from people who doent even know what the band is all about.
they're just shooting blanks!!

A MESSAGE FROM MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE
We have recently learned of the suicide and tragic loss of Hannah Bond. We'd like to send our condolences to her family during this time of mourning. Our hearts and thoughts are with them.
My Chemical Romance are and always have been vocally anti-violence and anti-suicide. As a band, we have always made it one of our missions through our actions to provide comfort, support, and solace to our fans. The message and theme of our album "The Black Parade" is hope and courage. Our lyrics are about finding the strength to keep living through pain and hard times. The last song on our album states: "I am not afraid to keep on living" - a sentiment that embodies the band's position on hardships we all face as human beings. If you or anyone that you know have feelings of depression or suicide, we urge you to find your way and your voice to deal with these feelings positively.

Sophie says it is much too easy to scapegoat the music. "People make their own choices and would not simply do something of that magnitude because a song told them to. Suicide is a serious decision. It may even be an insult to victims to say their death was due to the music they listen to," she said.
She says she has friends who have self-harmed. "But those are the ones who have had bad family lives," she added.
Her mother, Diane, a 44-year-old Daily Mail-reading housewife, agrees and has even taken her daughter to an MCR concert. "My husband and I are big fans but we are not emos. We went to the concert and from our view it was wonderful. People were hugging – it was lovely. In my day we were told not to listen to Judas Priest because of the devil but it never did us any harm."

this was Gerard addresses the accusations by The Daily Mail that they are a suicide cult. This must have been regarding an older publication, because it was recorded during "the black parade tour" when G was still blond... but the whole thing still rings true.
Watch it
Daily Mail actually attacked mcr twice for being described as "dangerous cult". time to fight back people!!!

Subject: BLINK 182-DELONGE VOICE SUPPORT MCR Sat Jun 14 2008, 17:12
Quote :
Former BLINK 182 star TOM DeLONGE has defended MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE against the media backlash they've faced over their dark, moody music, insisting there's nothing unusual about their songs' lyrical content. The rockers have come under fire from critics all over the world, but remarks made about the group in Britain's Daily Mail led to fans protesting outside the newspaper's offices earlier this month (Jun08). Mail reporters suggested there was a link between the suicide of English schoolgirl Hannah Bond last year (07) and her love of `emo' music, like that of the Teenagers hitmakers. But DeLonge sympathises with My Chemical Romance, because the members of Blink 182 went through the same controversy when their music was linked to the suicide of one student, who was a victim of the Columbine shootings in 1999. He says, "The same sort of thing happened to me with Blink, so I can understand what it's like to be a part of something like that. "We had a victim of the Columbine shootings take his life with our song on repeat. You kinda go through these situations where you blame yourself, but you can't. "You have no idea who these people are. And My Chemical Romance, they spend a lot of time singing about coming together. There's ingredients of rebellion and angst, but what band doesn't have that when you're young?"

Anyone ever heard Last Resort by Papa Roach? That song's lyrics are so fucking obvious about suicide. and no one ever say anything. V_V I love that song, I love mcr but I'm never suicidal. Gah. People should blame the community for not taking good care of her.
