The Used

It was actually this band that led me the way to My Chem. (When I first saw the music video for "Helena" I thought that Bert McCracken and "this new guy" looked so much alike. So I checked "this new band" out, and the rest is history...)

So, um... is anybody out there also into The Used?

I do! not as much as I like mcr tho. i love the way bert laughs in his songs.. XD
and I totally love jepha in drag in the pretty handsome awkward video.

If you like slow songs, you might love Yesterday's feelings. I totally <3 it. I havent heard all the songs from the Lies For The Liar, but all the songs in In Love and Death are awesomeeeeeeeeee.

I think you mean "Buried Myself Alive" and "Taste of Ink", both from their first album The Used. I love that album. It's got "Blue and Yellow" which is my favorite Used song of all.

I'm not really sure, but I think they released three major ones: The Used, In Love And Death, and Lies for the Liars. I'm not that big of a The Used nerd, though, so there's probably an album or two out there that I've missed

Their latest is Shallow Believers, a digital album which is available only on the internet (iTunes or something like that).

Hoho yeah Shallow Believers. I have the whole album downloaded, but havent got time to actually listen to it.

For me it was MCR who led me to The Used. Lol. I think they are really raw with their music which is what that is appealing to me. A few of my faves would be Paralyzed, All That I've Got, Liar Liar, Buried Myself Alive, Blue and Yellow, etc. etc.

Bert is such a crazy frontman. Lol. But still he is the one that's sorta creating the attention to the band.

Thank god there are still on good terms... the press has been churning up they had a fight about two or three years ago... sighs... all the My Chem people were saying it's just Bert being a jokester. Lol.

They are fine I think cause about a year ago, Bert sang Teenagers on stage after the song was taken off as a single by My Chem. So, the guys should be fine like I said there's nothing between them just some joke that started it all.

I hope they're really okay. Whenever I watch the videos of them together, it made my heart ache. They're really cute together! And Bert looked like he really admired Gerard in some way..

Does anyone know Bert's history? About his girl who was pregnant and died from overdosed or something? I cant listen to All That I've Got without crying anymore. duh. I'm so stupidly emotional.

In Bert's thank you in the album In Love and Death, he mentioned something about writing the songs about her even though he's been denying it. :/
