They are not a bad band compared to a lot of the new stuff that's coming out. I like Hayley's voice. They have talent.

I dont even like Paramore that much, I mean I'm not a hardcore fan, I just love their music but I kinda hate stereotypes and since Paramore became so big, everyone suddenly wanna form a band with female vocalist *cough*Versaemerge*cough*hey monday*.

Ahaha. The most fucked up thing is they're all under FBR.

Oh well. I'm just saying.

I'll be honest, I've loved female fronted bands ever since I was really young when Evanescence got big.
I've always liked rock chics in bands. Basically, Hey Monday and Paramore does not share much similarity music wise. Unless of course you want to say that 'just because there's a girl singing instead of a guy'.

I'm sorry, but I'm just so tired of people keep saying that 'female fronted bands' are wannabes of Paramore or maybe the lead singer is 'Just Like Hayley'. I keep hearing these words and it (sorry yet again) sickens me.
VersaEmerge sure does share a bit of similarity with Paramore on the vocals, but guitar and music wise they are more towards Circa Survive.
It's more or less on how much PATD sounds abit like FOB, it's also like how We The Kings sounds like Boys Like Girls. Just giving an example. :p

I've been a fan of Versaemerge before they got signed and I think their pretty good for a band thats just begun.
Compared to other female fronted bands i've heard on myspace like Renfue,Currents and alot more.
I'm the type of a person who loves to find and support the underground bands that I find good on MySpace so yeah.
And actually, I think Hey Monday sounds more like The Academy Is... rather than Paramore.
The difference? Girl than a Guy.
I think people should learn to give these new bands a chance.

Sorry I wrote alot about it, I just wanted to let out what I had always wanted to say. :p

Oh and my favs from paramore!! :: Misery Business, Decode, My Heart, alot more. hhaha, i love themmm.
